‘Cystitis is a type of urinary tract infection (UTI) that affects the bladder. It’s common, particularly in women. Cystitis often gets better by itself but may sometimes be treated with antibiotics.’
Symptoms include:

Pain, burning or stinging when you p*e
Needing to p*e more often and urgently than normal
Feeling like you need to p*e again soon after going to the toilet
P*e that’s dark, cloudy or strong smelling
Pain low down in your tummy
Feeling generally unwell, achy, sick and tired
Blood in your urine

NHS Website

If you dropped in to see me at the acute clinic the above wouldn’t be enough to prescribe a remedy on! Homeopathy is highly individualised for you. I’ad want to know more!

What type of pain is it? Stinging, burning, cutting, stabbing, smarting?
Does the pain stay in one place or does it radiate out?
When do you feel the pain most? Before, during, after urination, when not urinating?
Tell us about your urge to urinate? Do you pass a lot of urine or not? Does the urge to urinate remain or go away?
Is there any dribbling or involuntary urination?
Any other sensations/symptoms? Swelling, tenderness?
Does anything make your symptoms better or worse? Heat, movement, lying down?
Is there blood or a red sediment in your urine?
Was there anything that was going on emotionally or physically that might have set this off? Due you have a tendency to cystitis after having s*x? I had a client once who developed cystitis like symptoms after cycling for a day while on a holiday in Holland.

You get the idea! We have five main cystitis remedies and at least 34 other remedies as well to help with your cystitis symptoms.

Different symptoms, different remedies needed.

I run a Homeopathic acute drop in clinic every Monday afternoon at The Wellbeing Clinic, 2pm - 6pm, 21 High Street, Corsham, SN13 0ES.

I also do online consultations too for acute and chronic issues.

Homeopathy?

Not sure what that is?

It’s an holistic form of medicine that can be used for anything that you would consider going to the Doctor for. So an alternative or complimentary therapy that has great depth and breadth to it, it’s been around for around 230 years. All the remedies are made from natural substances. It’s an energy medicine - the remedy has been diluted past the point that there is any material dose in it. This means the remedy is non-addictive and non-toxic, can be used by young and old and alongside conventional medicine.

I run a Homeopathic acute drop in clinic every Monday afternoon at The Wellbeing Clinic, 2pm - 6pm, 21 High Street, Corsham, SN13 0ES.

Come on by and join the locals. Joining in optional!

Travel Sickness

I remember it as a child and through into my teenage years. The worst for me, school buses. The idea of a bus journey to somewhere, anywhere! even if the end would be exciting filled me with dread. Winding roads, rough seas, turbulent flights may be the thing that effects you or a member of your family.

Homeopathy is a highly individualised treatment so there is more than one remedy to help us on our travels. Here are a couple which you may find useful, there are more….

Cocculus Indica - Is one of the most useful remedy for any type of motion sickness especially if your symptoms include feeling sick, vertigo, disorientation and headaches.

Bryonia - this is me still! If you start feeling sick trying to read in a moving car or take-off in a plane. Your start feeling sick and maybe feeling faint if you stand up. You may vomit bile/water immediately after eating.

You can buy these in 30c. Take one the night before you travel, another the next morning. You can repeat if necessary during your journey if needed. Or take one at the start of any symptoms, repeating if necessary.

I run a Homeopathic drop in clinic every Monday afternoon at The Wellbeing Clinic, 21 High Street, Corsham, SN13 0ES. Happy to help you with suggestions for remedies to take on your summer holidays for bites/stings, sunburn, food poisoning etc including a remedy for travel sickness!
