Last week, Ferno attended the United Kingdom Rescue Organisation Rope Rescue Challenge 2026, hosted by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue.

Fourteen teams, eight scenarios, three days with Fire and Rescue services coming from all around the UK and as far as Portugal to compete, network, and learn from each other.

It was fantastic to see our basket stretchers being used in almost every scenario taking place across Nottingham, and a privilege to watch the services demonstrate their expertise.

A special thank you to Nick Croudace for giving us the opportunity to support this event and a massive thank you to all the participating teams for taking part.

☕🍰 What an incredible result! 💚

A massive thank you to everyone who supported our Ferno UK Macmillan Coffee Morning.

Thanks to the generosity of our team, we raised an amazing £390.32 through cake sales, quizzes and fun competitions. Even better, Ferno has matched the amount raised, bringing our total donation to £780.64 for Macmillan Cancer Support! 🎉

Last week, Ferno UK was back exhibiting at the National Funeral Exhibition for the first time in several years, it's been a pleasure to reconnect and learn about how the industry has evolved over the past few years.

We also ran a small giveaway on the stand, a LEGO World Cup trophy to mark the start of the tournament. Visitors could enter by dropping their business card into the bowl…

One visitor in particular, Emmett, made quite the impression. A huge LEGO fan, he told us how much he needed the trophy to complete his collection.

When the time came to pick a winner at random… Emmett’s name was drawn. Safe to say, it made our week.
