To anyone living with an invisible illness: I see you. 🤍
The contradictions of living with these conditions can be hard for others to understand. The days you look fine but feel anything but. The things you can manage one day but not the next. The plans you desperately want to keep but sometimes just can’t.
IYKYK.
(Fibro, MS, endo, migraine, Crohn’s disease, autism… the list goes on.)
You are more than your symptoms.
You are more than what you can achieve in a day.
You are not lazy, unreliable or less worthy because your capacity looks different from someone else’s.
And you do not have to prove how much you’re struggling to deserve kindness.
(Says this whilst creating a full-blown presentation hoping your loved ones don’t take it personally that you’ve had to cancel again, whilst simultaneously recording every symptom so you’re prepared to advocate ferociously at your next medical appointment… in two years’ time. 🙄)
Yes, I see you.
And this is a big part of why I believe in creating spaces where people can feel heard, seen and held with compassion.
Through lived experience, working with a wide range of people and continued learning, I offer Reiki, sound baths, massage and cupping.
My intention is to offer a soft space to land. A moment to pause, reconnect and receive care, at your own pace.
Not another thing to achieve.
Not another thing to get right.
Just a space where you can be.
🤍 If this resonates, save it for a harder day or share it with someone who needs to feel seen.
You never know how much it can mean to feel understood.
