Silk Touch Tattoos Welcome to Silk Touch Tattoos. I am a Fine Line Tattoo Artist based in a private home studio in Colchester, Essex.

I offer a personalised, holistic service in a calm, cosy environment. My name is Shannon, and I'm a Fine Line Tattoo Artist based in a private 1:1 home studio in Colchester. I specialise in Fine Line Tattoos, which means delicate designs that are executed with precision and care. The calm, minimalist space has been built to make every client feel comfortable and confident. Whether it’s your first tattoo or an addition to your collection, I take pride in delivering clean, detailed, and beautifully balanced work that feels as personal as it looks.

🌸 It’s such a rewarding feeling when clients come back to me for more tattoos. Zoe come back to me for her second (and is now planning her much bigger 3rd tattoo…she’s defo got the bug) and we had a great time bringing this design to life.
🌸 Zoe has had both her tattoos placed inwards to face towards her so she gets to appreciate them every day. This is totally down to personal preference, there is no right or wrong!

They always say it’s the things you don’t do that you end up regretting the most. I know I’m not the only one that believes in this 🤍

Had such a lovely time being back in the studio - didn’t realise how much I’d missed it. Being a Mum is the best job in the world, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy the little break.

✨ WELCOME!

After gaining some new followers I thought it’d be a good time to re-introduce myself so you get to know the face behind it all (sorry! 🤪)

🤍 I’m Shannon, wife of 5 years and Mum of now 2 beautiful boys. I’ve worked in the NHS for over 12 years, and am currently in my 5th year of university studying gynae ultrasound. I’m incredibly lucky to genuinely love my job 💙

🤍 But… I’ve always had a passion for drawing, painting and body art, so took the leap to train in fine line tattooing. I opened Silk Touch Tattoos just under a year ago and have since loved every minute.

🤍 I have met the most incredible souls and love to hear the stories behind the tattoo, whether it be a deep rooted personal message, or because you love coffee and bee keeping (see relevant tattoo on the grid 😅)

🤍 After a short break I’m super excited for the studio to be up and running again. My diary officially opens on the 27/9/26 for October and November bookings.
