If you like an unusual crystal then we have just the thing for you ✨

This very unusual Amethyst specimen from Brazil is impossible to do justice to in a photo! It has a growth formation somewhere between elestial and flower Amethyst, with a core colour of purple, with some yellow zoning, and even some green and then red colouration from Hematite!

Sunday Specials this week is all about fancy slices! We've got 3 different posts lined up for you at 7pm, including these very cool Petoskey Stone slices from Michigan 🤩

Petoskey Stone is the official state stone of Michigan, and rather than a traditional crystal or mineral, is actually a fossilised coral!

It formed around 350 million years ago, when Michigan was underwater, covered by a warm tropical sea. It takes it's name from the Michigan city of Petoskey, and the hexagonal coral cells were each individual polyps, and the centre of each one was actually it's mouth!
