Women’s Gatherings – Looking Ahead ✨

As my women’s circles slowly come to a close for the year, I’m feeling very grateful for the beautiful souls who have come together over the past five months. It’s been such an honour to hold space for these women as they navigate life’s many transitions, challenges, joys and blessings.

Having a safe space to share, rest, laugh, cry and feel truly seen, witnessed, heard and understood by other women is a wonderfully powerful gift.

In January and March I’ll be welcoming women into a new cycle of gatherings, and it would be really helpful to have your input as I’ve had interest and requests for:

🌸Closed circles - a regular, familiar group where deeper connections can grow.

🌸Open circles - a more relaxed drop-in space with no commitment to attend every month.

🌸Mother–daughter circles - a special space to connect and grow together.

As much as I’d love to offer everything, I don’t think I’ll be able to stretch quite that far 😮‍💨😂

So, if you have a preference, send me a DM and let me know which gathering speaks to you. Your feedback will be hugely appreciated and will help me shape these spaces I will hold ☺️

Sending love, warmth and blessings to you all. 💗✨🌸🦌

A lovely review from a beautiful regular. This awesome human came to see me last night after a late landing back into the Uk on Sunday following a couple of weeks away.
She was tired and slightly wired from the jet lag that was kicking in.
Once on the couch we did some grounding & gentle breath work together enabling mind and body to settle in the space & be open to receiving.
I worked on her body weaving lymphatic draining, percussion, fascia release, intuitive flow and light energy work; helping release inflammation and toxic build up which is a result of long haul flights. This enabled her to feel lighter in body and mind and spirit which brought with it a very welcomed good nights rest 😴✨

Thank you for trusting my support in your integration & homecoming 💗

If you would like my support in anyway my new hours are Tuesday evenings and Fridays all day. Booking link in my bio or reach through DM.

It has taken me a few days to settle back in after a deeply moving weekend with Hide to Hoop – Cohort 2.

I’ve been part of many ceremonies over the years, both holding space for myself and for others. This experience felt different. It invited a level of presence, humility, and relationship that I hadn’t encountered in quite the same way before.

Working with the deer’s hide, flesh, and fur brought me into a much deeper understanding of what ceremony can be. Peeling back each layer of the hide revealed traces of a life lived—old scars, scratches, places where there had been ticks, signs of encounters with trees, wire, rucking deer and the landscape. Each mark felt like part of a story, quietly asking to be witnessed rather than explained.

The process of fleshing the hide became far more than a practical task. It was an invitation to slow down, to pay attention, and to meet this animal with care and respect. It has changed the way I understand birthing a drum. Being in relationship with the animal, knowing where it came from, and taking part in the journey from hide to rawhide has given me a depth of appreciation that words can only begin to touch.

One of the biggest lessons for me was noticing when I was trying to choose the hide, and then softening enough to let that need fall away. The hide that was meant for me became clear in its own time, and the connection felt undeniable. They chose me. With another hide, the relationship felt quieter, more uncertain. Instead of forcing meaning, I’m curious to see what unfolds and whether that connection deepens over time.

I’ve left this weekend with immense gratitude—for the deer, for the teachings, for the hands that have carried this knowledge before us, and for the reminder that some relationships can’t be rushed. They ask only that we arrive with patience, respect, and an open heart.

Deepest thanks and gratitude to Soil.skin.bone for holding this space and teaching us the Old Ways

When I was sitting in the jungle in Peru, a medicine woman said to me, “You’re going to work with flesh and bone.”

Immediately, my ego jumped in. Well, of course, I thought. I’m a bodyworker, a massage therapist. Of course I work with flesh and bone.

I kept that thought to myself. I didn’t want to be rude, and I certainly didn’t want my sarcastic, egoic side raising its head and stamping its feet.

The medicine woman looked me directly in the eye and said, “With animal flesh and bone.”

I looked back at her as if she was insane and this time spoke aloud.
“Realllllllyyyyyy? I’m not so sure about that.”
She simply replied, “It’s in you. I can see it.”

Something stirred inside me that day. Although I didn’t want to admit it, I couldn’t ignore it completely. I pushed her words to the back of my mind and convinced myself they were nonsense. My ego certainly thought they were nonsense.

Yet those words had already begun to awaken something within me—something ancient, something remembered. A feeling of knowing. Deep down, I sensed she was right.

I returned home and tried to forget about it, but her words lingered. They teased and taunted me, refusing to disappear.
Not long after, I booked myself onto my first drum-birthing workshop with a beautiful woman who had been working with animal hides and drums for many years.
The moment I birthed my first drum, something clicked into place.

Everything about that day felt sacred. The ceremony honouring the animal. The nervousness I felt holding the hide in my hands. The wooden hoop beneath my fingertips. The lacing and strapping. The stretching of the hide over the frame. The soft, warm, wet flesh beneath my fingers.

It all felt right.

I left that workshop knowing it would never be my last.

Working with human flesh and bone as a massage therapist and bodyworker is, in many ways, no different from working with the flesh and bone of an animal whose spirit still exists, even though they no longer walk this earth.

You feel the lumps, the bumps, the patterns, the weavings, the stories. Every mark, every scar, every discolouration has something to tell us.

It’s all the same.
We are all part of the same body—human and animal, flesh and bone.

We carry our stories, our traumas, our successes, our heartbreaks and our joys within these bodies that we inhabit. We can try to ignore them, suppress them, or dismiss them, but eventually they rise to the surface.

You will feel it in your cells.

You will know it in your DNA.

Your ancestors will call to you.

And when they do, you will know what is right and when the time is right.

My calling is flesh and bone—both animal and human.

To honour.
To nourish.
To respect.
To hold ceremony.

This is a calling to walk in the footsteps of my ancestors, to remember my animal body, to follow those who have walked before me, and to leave footprints for those who will follow behind.

For my ancestors of flesh and bone.
For my kin.

I hope that everyone finds their beauty path, their true path. And when that path presents itself, I hope you honour it, no matter how uncomfortable, alien, or absurd it may seem at the time.

Follow it.
Trust your knowing.
Within that knowing, you will find a deep and lasting peace.
