🚴‍♂️ DAY 2 – THE CHARITY RIDE CONTINUES! 🚴‍♂️

After yesterday’s opening leg, our cycling medic is back in the saddle for Day 2 of this fantastic charity challenge! 💪🚴‍♂️

Today the journey continues towards Montreal, with more miles, more climbs and plenty of hard work along the way. 🌄

As a Cycling Medic, the role isn’t just about getting the miles in — it’s about supporting the riders, keeping an eye on hydration and wellbeing, and being there should anyone need medical assistance along the route.

And it’s all for four fantastic children’s charities:

🚴‍♂️🇨🇦 EXPED MEDICAL GROUP ON THE ROAD IN CANADA! 🇨🇦🚴‍♂️

Today, one of our Exped Medical Group Cycling Medics has embarked on an incredible cycling challenge, supporting The Truants Foundation as they take on the journey from Mont-Tremblant to Montréal. 🩺🚴‍♂️

This isn’t just about riding the miles — our Cycling Medic will be riding alongside the team, providing mobile medical support throughout the challenge, helping keep the riders safe and ready to tackle whatever the road throws at them.

And it’s all for four fantastic children’s charities:

From the long miles and challenging climbs to the inevitable bumps and exhaustion that come with a cycling challenge, our Cycling Medic is there to support the riders every pedal of the way.

🤘 Proud to Support the Heavy Metal Truants – Year 14! 🚴‍♂️🎸

Exped Medical Group is incredibly proud to once again be providing medical support for the Heavy Metal Truants, marking our 14th year alongside this truly inspiring event.

This year, an incredible group of riders are taking on the challenge of cycling from London to Bloodstock Open Air Festival in just 2½ days, all to raise vital funds for the Truants Foundation.

The money raised supports four outstanding children’s charities:

The determination, camaraderie and commitment shown by every rider is nothing short of inspiring. Every mile cycled helps make a real difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK.

A huge congratulations to everyone taking part, and thank you for allowing Exped Medical Group to be part of another fantastic year. We wish all the riders a safe journey and every success as they make their way to Bloodstock!

🚴☀️ Here we go again! The cycling season is in full swing, and our team is back on the road.

We currently have two of our medics in the Alps, soon moving across to the Dolomites, providing medical support for Jacqtours and their incredible group of cyclists.

With temperatures climbing into the 30s, hydration is more important than ever. Long days in the saddle, challenging mountain climbs, and fast technical descents all place extra demands on the body. Staying ahead of dehydration and recognising the early signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke can make all the difference.

Our medics are on hand to keep riders safe, healthy, and ready to tackle every kilometre of these spectacular routes.

Wishing everyone an amazing tour—stay hydrated, ride smart, and enjoy every climb… and every descent! 🚴⛰️💧☀️

🚑 First Event of 2026 – Here We Go!

The first event of the year is here Army Benevolent Fund’re proud to be providing medical cover for the Army Benevolent Fund Home Front Walk❤️🏞️

The walk begins at the historic Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where generations of British Army officers have started their careers. From there, the route heads through the beautiful Barossa Nature Reserve, continues through Deepcut past St Barbara’s Church, and alongside the Army Training Centre Pirbright, where today’s recruits train.

The walk finishes at Brookwood Military Cemetery, a very special place and the final resting place of thousands of Commonwealth soldiers — a powerful and reflective end to the route.

The team are currently travelling down from Durham, getting everything in place ready for the start tomorrow morning.

We’re really looking forward to supporting everyone taking part and being part of such a meaningful event.

Safe travels to everyone heading down, and we’ll see you all tomorrow! 💚🚑
