Have you ever felt the soothing power of sound? 🎶

Tuning forks are beautiful tools used in sound healing to create gentle, resonant tones and vibrations that invite the body and mind into a state of relaxation. During a sound healing experience, these tones can help you slow down, quiet the mind and reconnect with yourself. 🌿

There are two main types of tuning forks, each offering a different experience:

Unweighted Tuning Forks These produce a clear, sustained tone that travels through the air. They are typically used around the body, allowing you to listen to the sound and experience its calming, meditative qualities. Their gentle tones can help create a peaceful atmosphere and encourage mindfulness and relaxation.

Weighted Tuning Forks These have small weights attached to the ends, creating a stronger physical vibration and a less sustained tone. They are often gently placed on specific areas of the body, allowing the vibrations to be felt through touch more than being heard.

Tuning forks are just one of the instruments I use within my sound healing sessions. 🔔
