What a season it’s been so far! 🌾
Acute Pest Solutions have been busy assisting farmers across the North of the UK with the preparation of their grain stores for Harvest 2026.
From Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Edinburgh, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Kelso and Jedburgh in the north, across to Carlisle in the North West, Hartlepool in the North East, and down through Scarborough, Driffield York and Leeds — and pretty much everywhere in between!
It’s been a real pleasure watching the season develops back in June and seeing the preparation work come together. We’re now getting wrapped up (although there’s still a little work to finish in North Scotland!) and can look back on a hugely rewarding few months.
We’ve loved every minute of it. The team have worked hard, juggling a lot of the time to get everyone squeezed in on time; with long hours and a lot of miles clocked up! It’s been intense, logistically challenging and physically demanding, particularly with some of the temperatures we’ve experienced along the way 🥵🥵🥵. But we’ve come out of it on the other side fighting fit and ready for the next chapter of the year. 💪💪💪
As the seasons change, attention now turns towards grain fumigation, which will be firmly at the forefront of the coming months.
