Monday Update!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good afternoon everyone!! We hope you’ve all had a wonderful day!!! Ours has been as amazing as ever and we’re all feeling really lucky after a fulfilling and rewarding day!!!

Our Monday was magical because we:

🚶 went walking with our walking group for fresh air, exercise and time with friends!
🏊 had our amazing swimming lesson with Jess at Fairfield Pool
💪🏻 had chair based exercises and gym sessions
☕️ walked to the community cafe to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with friends
💡 had a spooky stories themed sensory session
🖼️ enjoyed card making
🗣️ had time to talk with friends about the things important to us 🥰
🥰 visited the amazing residents and staff of Northbourne Court Care Home in Sidcup! We enjoyed chatting to the lovely people there, everyone so warm and friendly!! Our students chatted away with everyone, sang songs with everyone and helped to give out teas and biscuits! We had such a special time there and can’t wait to go back!!

Friday update

Good evening everyone!! Friday is here again!! Time for rest after an incredibly wonderful week!!! Our week was amazing because we:

🧑‍🍳 had cooking sessions, sensory cooking sessions, breakfast club, kitchen skills sessions and volunteer programs in the kitchen and tea room!
🍂 continued our autumn projects and had lovely autumn walks at different places including Knole Park to spot and document different species of our amazing wildlife!
⚽️ had a variety of sports sessions including community sports, sports in our sports hall, playing bocce, chair based exercises, swimming and gym sessions!
🖼️ had art and crafts sessions including Halloween crafts 🎃 👻
💅 had our nails done by the wonderful Sian
🏆 had our much loved Friday raffle
🗞️ had our much loved news round to share our news and things that matter to us!
🧖 had our pamper session with foot spas and hand and foot massage
🎭 continued to practice for our up coming show!!
🩷 prepared for our pink party
🎭 practiced for our show
🚗 visited CVS
🖼️ enjoyed card making
🥇 gave certificates to Lee and Stef for working so hard in our garden

Monday update!

Good afternoon everyone!! We hope you’ve had a Monday as amazing as we have!!! We enjoyed a variety of activities today to develop different skills, being out in the community and spending time with friends!

We had a great time because we:
🎶 had a music and musical instrument sensory session, exploring different sounds and instruments and listening to songs with those instruments in!
🫖 walked to our community cafe for tea and a catch up with friends!
🗞️ had a mini news round to catch up on weekend news and what we all did!
🚶 went for a walk with our walking group to enjoy fresh air and exercise!
👩‍🍳 enjoyed cooking and making our own lunch and pudding independently!
🗣️ had time to talk which is so important as we like and need to be heard!
💪🏻 enjoyed chair based exercises and discussed the importance of exercise!
🏊 had our fantastic swimming lesson with Jess!!!

Wow, what a fantastic and fulfilling day 🥰❤️

BIG apologies, our Friday update coming at you a bit late!!!! We hope you’ve all got a wonderful weekend planned, full of all of your favourite things!! We all need the rest after our action packed and fun-filled week!

Our week was amazing because we:

🧑‍🍳 had cooking sessions, sensory cooking sessions, breakfast club, kitchen skills sessions and volunteer programs in the kitchen and tea room!

Good afternoon everyone! We hope you’ve had a great start to your week! We certainly did and here is why….

Today we enjoyed:

🍁 an autumn themed sensory session, looking for signs of autumn, and finding and identifying leaves!
🫖 a walk to our community cafe for drinks and a chat with friends!
🚶‍♀️A walk to our local park with friends to enjoy exercise, fresh air and the sun ☀️
🪴 gardening in our lovely garden and helping with garden maintenance 🪏
🧑‍🍳 community cooking! We made our own curry for our lunch followed by cheesecake for after!
🏊‍♀️ our amazing swimming lesson with Jess!
💪🏻 chair based exercises!
🗣️ time to talk
🍽️ pie, mash and peas for dinner followed by brownie and yogurt

Wow, what a fantastic day!!! Thank you every for making our day so much fun!! 🤩

A MASSIVE congratulations to our student of the month, Angela! She took on the role of Tearoom Volunteer and she has excelled herself! She works so hard keeping everyone clean, tidy and organised and throws herself in to the hard work 💪🏻

Another MASSIVE congratulations to our volunteer of the month, Rebecca! She works incredibly hard, alongside Kerry, to keep our kitchen running smoothly! Rebecca has worked so hard to improve her skills and is now a fully fledged member of the team! 💪🏻

Good evening and happy Friday everyone!!!! We hope you’ve had a week as amazing as ours!!
Our week has been busy, fun- filled, educational, uplifting, exciting and full of celebration!!!

We have loved our week because we have:

💅 had our official opening of Sian’s nail bar complete with Sian’s amazing speech, the cutting of the ribbon, balloons, presents for Sian and complimentary sweets for the nail bar regulars!
🧑‍🍳 had sensory cooking sessions, waste not want not cooking and volunteering in our kitchen and tea room!
🥰 helping with jobs around All Directions!
🍲 (today!) enjoyed chicken and vegetable pasta followed by home made apple crumble and ice cream!
🎂 celebrated Abby, Louise and Danny’s birthdays, happy birthday darlings, we hope you enjoyed your celebrations and presents!
🎱 enjoyed a variety of garden games including boccia!
🧖‍♀️ enjoyed pamper sessions including foot spas, hand and foot massages and having our nails done!
🪴 helped in the garden to make our gardens lovely for us all to be in!
💪🏻 played sports and had gym sessions
♥️ enjoyed time at CVS
📚 had our study group and basic skills lessons

Wow!!! What a week!!! Now time for a rest and see you next week to do it all over again! Hurray!!!
