Be honest.
Have you already decided that January is when you’re going to sort this out?
Halloween is coming up.
Then it’s Bonfire Night.
Then it’s Christmas parties, work nights out, family meals, drinks, takeaways, chocolate everywhere and the whole “ah f**k it, it’s Christmas” mindset. 🎄
And before you know it, you’re sat there on New Year’s Day promising yourself that this year will finally be different.
Again.
I’m not telling you that you need to diet your way through Christmas.
The people joining me in November won’t be doing that either.
We’re not going to spend 30 days trying to grind every last pound off the scales, then spend December terrified of putting it back on.
We’re going to learn how to navigate Christmas without the scales needing to rocket up as a result.
Because there is a middle ground.
You can enjoy the food, the drinks, the days out, the meals with your family and all the bits that make Christmas good.
Without deciding you’ve ruined everything and turning one big meal into six weeks of “I may as well now”.
You can start now.
Spend November getting your head around food, getting clear on what actually works for you, and learning how to stop one meal, one night out or one stressful day becoming a full week of giving up.
Then Christmas comes.
You enjoy it properly.
You ease off a bit if you want to.
But when January arrives, you’re not starting from scratch with a mountain to climb.
You’re picking up where you left off.
You’ve already built momentum.
You know more about yourself.
You know you can have a normal life and still make progress.
That is a very different January.
This is my final new intake of 2026.
I’m opening Christmas Without the Diet next Sunday.
It’s 30 days for anyone sick of repeating the same “I’ll start Monday” and “I’ll sort it in January” cycle.
