Today's the day.

No lesson. No framework. No link in bio.

Just a man who learned, slowly, how to let love in.

And the woman who waited while I did.

Today I marry Jo.

I'm putting the phone down now. I want to be here for every second of it.

See you on the other side.

What's one moment in your life you were fully, completely present for?

08/10/2026

Tomorrow I marry Jo.

Eleven years ago she met a man who was surviving, not living. A single parent, still studying, and very good at keeping love out.

She loved me anyway. She believed in me before I believed in myself.

Everything I've built since has her fingerprints on it.

This week I also opened the doors to the Level 3 Certificate in Nervous System-Informed Coaching. Fifteen years of work and lived experience, finally in one place.

I spoke on a stage in Ireland. I launched a course. And tomorrow I get married.

A few years ago, I wouldn't have had the capacity to hold a week like this. Now I get to feel all of it.

So I'm switching off for a while. Phone away. Fully present for the people I love.

The doors to Level 3 stay open until 21 October.

Message me the word course and I will send you the details.

New chapter. Steady floor. Open heart.

What new chapter are you stepping into?

05/10/2026

On Saturday I stood on a stage in Ireland.

On Wednesday I open the doors to a course I've spent a long time building.

An Accredited Level 3 Certificate in Nervous System-Informed Coaching

On Friday I get married.

A few years ago, a week like this would have sent me over the edge.

I ran on cortisol and adrenaline for years. I used alcohol, drugs, work, fitness, chaos and drama to change how I felt. A big week meant a big crash.

This week my heart's going a bit faster. There's energy in my chest. And I know what it is now.

It isn't anxiety. It's excitement.

So I'm not pushing through this week. I'm keeping my floor. Sleep. Movement. Breath. Phone away in the mornings.

That's what lets me be here for all of it.

What's your floor when life gets big?

04/10/2026

Yesterday I spoke at a youth conference in Ireland.

I've only been speaking for a year.

So standing in that room felt a bit surreal. Privileged. Grateful. A long way from where I started.

What struck me most was how open people were. The questions kept coming at the end. People who work with young people every day, wanting to understand the nervous system. Theirs, and the young people's they hold.

I didn't get there by pushing harder.

I started the day with a run up into the hills. Sauna. Ice bath. Breakfast. Then the stage.

My minimum standards came with me. That's the reason I could stand up there steady.

On Wednesday I open the doors to my Level 3 accredited course in nervous system-informed coaching. Yesterday showed me how much it's needed.

What's one thing you do before a big day that keeps you steady?

03/10/2026

5:44am. A hotel room in Ireland.

In a few hours I'm speaking at a youth conference.

And I'm sat here feeling quite emotional.

The old verion of me, numbing my way through life, too scared to feel, too scared to let anyone in and definitely too scared to put myself in a room full of professionals.

If you'd told that version of me he'd be asked to stand in front of a room and talk about the nervous system, he wouldn't have believed you.

I'm not pushing the emotion away this morning. I'm letting it be here. Feet on the floor. Breath slow. Grateful.

Because this is what the work does. It doesn't erase where you came from. It lets you carry it differently.

On Wednesday I open the doors to something I've been building for a long time. More on that soon.

For now, I'm just going to feel this.

Where have you come from that the old you wouldn't believe?

02/10/2026

Last week I took two full rest days.

No training. At all.

For someone who's spent years pushing, that's not easy. There's a voice that says rest is lazy. That you're falling behind.

But recovery is where the growth happens. Sleep. Stillness. Letting the body catch up.

I'm not chasing the ceiling anymore. I'm upgrading the floor.

And rest is part of the floor.

Next week I get married. I want to arrive at that day fully rested, fully here.

What would it take for you to rest without guilt this weekend?

01/10/2026

I worked out I spend about ten hours a week on background stuff.

Messages. Emails. Admin. None of it huge. All of it pulling at me.

The real cost wasn't time. It was being home with Jo and only half being there.

So I made a decision. I'm handing a lot of it off.

Not to fit more in. To be more present for what matters.

I couldn't just try harder to be present. I had to remove what was pulling me away.

What's one thing you could hand off, drop, or put a boundary around this week?

30/09/2026

Busy isn't always productive.

Sometimes busy is protection.

If I keep my hands moving, I don't have to notice I'm tired. Or sad. Or scared of what happens if I stop.

Distraction isn't a character flaw. It's your nervous system doing its best to keep you safe.

But safe isn't the same as well.

The practice isn't to stop being busy overnight. It's to notice the pull. And stay three breaths longer than feels comfortable.

What are you keeping busy so you don't have to feel?

Last week I stood inside the Emirates on a behind-the-scenes tour.

I've supported Arsenal my whole life.

What struck me wasn't the tunnel or the dressing room. It was how present I was.

No phone. No emails. No thinking about what was next. Just fully there. Honoured. Grateful. Every part of me in it.

That's what presence feels like in the body.

And it made me ask a hard question. Why do I save that feeling for special days?

When did you last feel completely present?

25/09/2026
