With these chilly days upon us, reflexology offers more than just relaxation, it brings warmth from the inside out. The couch is warm, the atmosphere is warm, and the effects gently warm the synapses and nerves of every system in the body.
My client today mentioned a tingling sensation in her legs after her session. She shared she’d been experiencing sciatica, something she hadn’t mentioned initially. As I worked along the whole spine reflexes and focused on the hip and Lumber5 vertebra points, she gave a slight twitch. These little nuances are the body responding, subtle signals of internal systems reacting and rebalancing.
Reflexology is such a fascinating treatment. And what warms my heart most is those beautiful sighs during and at the end of a session, when the body fully lets go.
