Children don’t always realise when their vision isn’t quite right. Regular eye examinations from the time they start school can help identify problems early, supporting their learning, development and confidence.

We recommend an eye examination when children start school, followed by regular checks to keep up with their growing and changing eyes.

As a local, independent optician, we take pride in getting to know our patients and their families, providing friendly, thorough and personal care as children grow.

And remember, NHS eye examinations are free for children under 16.

Wendy has been an optometrist here for over 20 years, Steve for the past 7, and Emma joined us last November.

We’re lucky to have a hugely experienced team, including Nette, our dispensing optician, and Jane and Debbie, who have both been part of Phillip Bradley for over 20 years.
