Are you unable to travel due to surgery recovery, health issues or mobility? My home visit service means that I can come to you.
I bring the supportive health benefits of Reiki wellbeing to your own space.

As a mature professional Reiki Master, I offer gentle hands on sessions working with energy, but understand that having someone in your home can feel daunting. Which is why I'm happy to have a free initial call, to chat through questions. I can also provide a verified reference from my existing home visit client to reassure you, that you are engaging with a trusted person.

I am also a professional member with FHT and UK Reiki Federation.

Currently I'm offering local Didcot residents a reduced fee throughout October & November of Β£55 normally Β£60.

Happy to receive messages here or via email [email protected]

A/ L I T T L E / B O O K / G I F T /

This has been a labour of love. Something that I have wanted to bring to life for a long time.

A way to share my photographs and words with you and the world. Especially in our increasingly worrying and unstable times. It feels like a little gift to anchor yourself amongst the pages. Inviting you to explore a season through observation, reflection and wonder.

It makes the perfect pick me up present for someone you care about. Imagine them waking up to see this land in their inbox. A nice email note for a change, not a bill, call to action or energy price increase. Something they can see straight away, print or just view. Sipping tea, looking at the way the light falls and recognising all that a season offers.

I've worked with the most incredible editorial designer to place my photographs and words in a calming, peaceful way. Just me and my camera, and my thoughts jotted in numerous notebooks ( I have many!)

I hope it brings my love and light into their world, and yours.

Always grateful,

Melita x

For me there's always been an inner dream, hope, wish of creating a small book or journal to share with like minded readers. A reflection on my work subtly guided by Reiki. I can't recall exactly when the seed for Seven Slow Days was planted. Yet this year I realised I was actually beginning to start writing a small book.

That niggle was always there in my early morning walks, or when out carrying my camera capturing the flowers in my garden. Lots of scattered thoughts scribbled down in random notebooks (I have far too many) along with numerous cups of tea growing cold as I got distracted observing the garden shift outside my window.
Words stored like dried flowers pressed between the pages of my mind.

I took the leap and began the tentative journey into the world of publishing.

Daily and over many weeks I travelled 2,300 miles without leaving my seat to an editorial designer who brought my vision onto paper. We worked fonts, placement, layout styles, giving my photography a way to lead you in to observation. Learning how my grammar often let me down, and adjusting the flow of words that were are all part of the journey.

So with deep pride and honour, it is finally here! I have two versions one digital (available immediately) and soon printed copies. https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheMeadowsweetPress

I'd really love to welcome you to explore Seven Slow Days. See it as a companion on the days when life is overwhelming and challenging. A journal to flick through whilst sipping tea. I truly hope it brings you comfort, reflection and companionship.

Always with love,

Melita x πŸ’š

A W A R D / W I N N I N G

Today, saw me experience receiving an award in recognition of my work here at Meadowsweet Wellbeing.

Whilst there was gratitude to be independently recognised for something I have built slowly, thoughtfully and very much in my own way.

I also found myself thinking about what winning an award truly means to me.

For me, success is creating and maintaining a sustainable business in challenging times. It is about offering those who visit me and those I visit. The time, privacy and support that I believe their wellbeing deserves.

It's being able to keep Meadowsweet personal, gentle and authentic.

If my sessions can help even one person feel supported, find a little breathing space, or take a positive step forward for themselves, then that means more than any award or title.

It's also about me having enough space in my working life to fully engage and listen.
Which of course means I'm not fully booked every week. Or have a waiting list stretching into the distance.

So yes, today I am celebrating this award.

But perhaps the greater achievement for me is to continue building a practice that I can sustain. One that feels true to me, and my clients. Which can be hard in a world that rewards content over clarity.

So I just wanted to take this opportunity to send a huge thank you to everyone who has trusted me with a part of their story. It really is an honour to work along side you with compassion and integrity.

I feel gifted to know you. πŸ’š

Sending much love, light and blessings to you all.

H O M E / V I S I T S

Sometimes health makes travelling to an appointment difficult.
My Reiki Home Visits are designed particularly for women recovering from surgery, experiencing ongoing health difficulties, feeling physically depleted, or living with circumstances that make travelling away from home challenging.

I'll arrive with everything needed to create a quiet, comfortable space within your home where you can settle without having to leave.

The session itself remains a private, one-to-one experience, with time to settle beforehand and space afterwards to gently come back to yourself.
There's no need to rush anywhere afterwards. You can simply remain in the comfort of your own surroundings.

Home visits are available within Didcot and surrounding villages.

If you're wondering whether a home visit might be appropriate for you, please email me here at [email protected] and we can have a chat.

Alternatively visit my website for more info. https://www.meadowsweetmassagetherapy.co.uk/support-sessions

Sending you Love & Light

It was a gentle day today. Trying not to get too overwhelmed with how much needs attention. Both in the house & garden, especially after a week of intense heat. Where it became impossible to really do much at all.

I appreciated my lovely clients waiting until this week. πŸ’š As my wooden cabin really suffers over 25 degrees. Thank you for being so understanding with all the re-schedules. πŸ’š I spent today, dusting off the heat, cleansing the energy with a gorgeous new Japanese Incense and laying out fresh covers and sheets. I'm really looking forward to welcoming you into a cooler, more reasonable week of temperatures.

Please though excuse the Meadowsweet Garden, I have raked and plucked weeds, but there's still Rose's to dehead, areas to sweep and furniture to be moved, but the good news is that my Dahlia patch simply loved the warmth! As did my recovering lemon plant. Bursting forth now and I can't wait to see their flowers!

I've been quiet from here as behind the scenes I'm working on some lovely things to do with my writing and photography. As well as trialling a new way to reach more of you who are unable to visit me in person at the Meadowsweet cabin.

Today it welcomed me back with a gorgeous art installation that I have shared in my stories. So poignant, beautiful and heartwarming.

Also now that we are moving through Summer please know that on Monday's I have my Woodland Sessions both Reiki and Mindful Nature Connection. You can book through my Fresha page or website. It offers a unique energy and slightly cooler shelter amongst the dappled shade of the trees. So this season is the perfect time to try something beautiful just for you. πŸ’šπŸŒΏ

Sending you so much love and light, and thank you for always waiting for me to return on here. Melita x✨✨
