So following the popularity of the class that Peter runs that I volunteer at in Banham a few people have been asking if we could run an additional seated exercise class locally…

So I’m pleased to say that I’ve been gathering supplies and now can confirm that I am looking for a location!

So far the space in burston and myself have spoken which would be a smaller more intimate group with some potential special events ( I.e a class followed by a sound bath or something of that nature maybe a couple of times per year)

However I want to hear from you, please comment below and share what would be the most accessible location for you guys?

Would you prefer it to actually be in Diss, in Roydon, or Burston as I want people to be able to get there easily and safely.

Additionally if you have hired village halls etc locally then please get in touch as I’d like to work something out with you funding wise so I can keep costs to a minimum for the groups.

Thanks!

THE DREADED CANCELLATION POLICY oh noo😭😂

Im a reasonable man and having audhd I understand that we sometimes we double book ourselves (or even triple book in my case in the past!😂🤦🏻‍♂️)

However I still have to run a business and unfortunately going forward cancellations with less than 24 hours notice I am going to start charging (unless it is a very good reason and it’s unavoidable then please don’t worry as I won’t charge!)

First time- half the usual session cost and from then on I will charge the full amount per session mainly as it’s unfair on those that really need our help that I could prioritise, but also being self employed, we don’t get an hourly rate, holiday cover, sick pay etc.

On to more of a positive note though I almost have everything I need to start running an additional seated exercise class once or twice per week! And in the new year I will also hopefully be going to shadow at an amazing place in Norwich called Able2b that specialises in physical and also mental disabilities, elderly conditions etc with the hopes to do another cpd course when they eventually run another!😍😊

Last night I was fortunate enough to go to the premiere of rise and roams new short video documenting the mental health struggles men face on the daily and the challenges that some of them have pushed themselves through to raise money and to support each other, it was incredibly humbling and a beautiful thing to see all of the guys supporting one another.
Please if you have a spare 13 minutes give this a watch and see what the guys at Rise & Roam - Men’s Mental Health & Wellbeing. Have been up to this year, incredibly proud of the boys ❤️

I have returned!

A few days rest and relaxation over my birthday was just what the Dr ordered.

✨Also have some exciting news to share with you!✨

Friday I am going to be interviewed on the radio by BBC Norfolk!
Not sure when it will air but keep your ears finely tuned!

BUT THE NEWS DOESN’T STOP THERE!

I am also looking at running another smaller scale seated exercise class once a week in the new year!

There is potential to collaborate with some other amazing mindfulness and wellbeing practitioners to run some bespoke events later down the line too!

I’m currently in talks to try and secure a good accessible location, but isn’t it all exciting!

OUT OF OFFICE until Thursday!
It’s my birthday Wednesday and this time I’m having an actual get away, no ridiculous mountain biking miles or silly mountain hiking, just a well deserved couple days of rest and relaxation and as such I will be unreachable until I return, have a good week everyone I will see some of you Thursday and Friday 😊

Highlighting, Sharing and signposting people to fitness and mental health professionals:

Vlog 1 focuses on burnout, neurodiversity and other gender related aspects that can affect some people with some fantastic information from Charlotte.

Thank you for allowing me to share some of this 💪🏻

Remember life shouldn’t be about competition, it should be about open communication and pooling our resources together as the world is already difficult enough without algorithms and bu****it information everywhere, so let’s try change that.

What’s your definition of bliss?

For me this was pretty close to a state of bliss, no wind, a little warmth from the sun, hardly anyone around and the cool water providing some benefit to my aching body after some good hiking over the last few days.

What a challenging day adventuring a mountain range that none of us have done and summiting four new peaks in Wales in 55mph gusts and torrential rain.

I was hoping to climb Tryfan tomorrow but i’m honestly not doing so hot, I’m still really struggling after being ill the last week and a half and I’d hoped to get a bit more out of these next few days so I’m a bit alloyed at myself, but proved to myself that I could push beyond my comfort levels, however i’m also fully aware of burnout and that the mountains aren’t going anywhere so there’s anyways another day and getting injured might l mean there are no more days so it’s imperative to listen to your body as currently mine is screaming at me regardless how much prehab I’ve been doing stemming from how I’ve abused my body over the years.

So I’ve been backwards and forwards with some governing bodies for the last few months wanting to release my latest idea…

So anyway they derailed said idea and are now claiming it as their own so I’m releasing these videos regardless, I even had a website designer at the ready building the framework!😂🤦🏻‍♂️

The first video is going to be focused around Neurodivergence and female bodily issues and how to navigate burnout featuring so keep an eye open for that and in the meanwhile go and check out her page as she’s fantastic at what she does.

This week I have been away for my first proper holiday in 8 years! It’s so important to get outside explore and do what you love as often it goes hand in hand with exercise often doing it without thinking!

I ended up doing more steps (and laughing!) than I usually would and there was a lotttt of cardio!l and endurance involved!

- Day one: 23 miles riding off-road on the bike with almost a mile of fairly steep elevation and 22322 steps

- Day two: we went out and explored, did some touristy bits saw the beautiful Whitby abbey and clocked up nearly another 16000 steps also climbing another 200+ stairs (the stairmaster at the gym has been paying off😂)

Today and tomorrow will be spent relaxing properly and then Sunday off to Wembley for another busy day with family and then it’s back to work again Monday seeing all my lovely clients 🫶🏻☺️
