So...what did our wee Brain Injury group get up to on Thurs 20th August? First, we were given a guided tour of the Transport Museum by two tour guides, and had lunch there while we were at it. Tour guides were great. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riverside_Museum Then with that over, hey ho, we all boarded a speedboat and fired up and down the River Clyde for a wee while! This was an extraordinary thing for a group like ours to do, and lent to a very memorable day for all of us. It was a day that gave us a confidence in our unity, educated us about transport, fed us, and had us bang out in the fresh air on a thrilling boat ride(!)...what's NOT to like? It was an absoloutely brilliant day.
And aye, it was Ian's birthday! I don't think he had powering up and down the Clyde in a speedboat in his original plans for the day...😆

(Please note that we were safe at all times, we were forewarned of possible hazzards and were armed with lifejackets and grips for a safe journey - the fellows at https://www.seaforcepowerboats.co.uk/ could not have been more safety conscious.)
