While Pilates has its moment… let me share my love for the quiet classic 🤍
My Callanetics journey began in 2014 as a participant. By 2017, I’d qualified to teach the exercise I’d grown to love.
I attended twice a week, week after week, for years. It helped me regain my strength, but the sculpting and toning were a big part of its appeal for me. Those tiny, precise pulses kept my muscles working, and with consistent practice, I noticed my body becoming firmer, more defined and changing shape.
Small movements that made a noticeable difference to me…
What began as a desire to regain my shape has become something much more meaningful. Now, in my prime years, my focus is on longevity—keeping my body nimble, strong and ready for the life I want to live.
And then there’s the community. A lovely bunch of women coming together to move, have a laugh and take a little time for themselves. They’re a huge part of why I love it.
My opinion? Callanetics and Pilates complement one another beautifully. Callanetics brings tiny, precise pulses and focused muscle work, while Pilates brings flowing, controlled movements with an emphasis on breath and coordination. Both encourage you to slow down, pay attention and move with intention.
There’s room in my heart—and my week—for both 🤍

And to my Callanetics girls… what keeps you coming back? The strength, the changes you’ve noticed, how you feel afterwards—or the company and the banter? 😆 up
I’d love to hear what it brings to you 🤍
