There are some moments that remind you why you do what you do.
I feel incredibly privileged to be part of the United to Prevent Su***de movement and to play a small part in helping to change the conversation around mental health, wellbeing, and su***de prevention.
Through my work, I've seen first-hand the difference that compassion, genuine connection, and simply being willing to listen can make.
We don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes, creating a safe space for someone to feel heard and understood can make all the difference.
What I love most about this movement is that it reminds us su***de prevention isn't just the responsibility of professionals; it’s something we can all contribute to.
Every conversation, every act of kindness, and every person who feels a little less alone helps build a more compassionate Scotland.
Change doesn't happen overnight, but it does happen one conversation at a time.
I'm incredibly grateful to stand alongside so many passionate people who are committed to breaking down stigma, encouraging hope, and reminding others that they matter.
Together, we really can make a difference. 💚
