You may have heard by now,that our beloved Hub,work home has been sold and we have all been evicted. It seems with courses scrapped at ECA, threats to Summerhall and us, the choices being made have a strong agenda in undermining arts,self-employment,creativity,charities and health workers supporting vulnerable clients.
Our group started 4 years ago and I took it over when things got shaky. We had just reached the stage where we could settle safely to begin after years of uncertainty. In our studio now, aside from me directing it, offering craniosacral therapy, remedial yoga and pranayama 1:1, and supervision for helping professions, we have Feldekrais classes,Qi Gong classes,Yoga vinyasa classes,massage, reflexology,voice work,dance, yoga for unpaid carers, mums taking space to be better mums and partners, somatic work, women practitioners returning to work after a long time and using the space at first to regain confidence.A good resource for the community. Going with many more.
We will close our sessions on 19th December and hope you will join us between now and then and follow your favourite practitioners after.
