Captain Liv!

Good luck to our very own PT Olivia Fulton as she captains Scotland today at the wheelchair rugby World Cup in Australia.

Olivia has worked very hard in the gym the past few months and we are all behind you and very proud.

Make sure you wear your work uniform over there eh 🤣.

Getting back up off the ground is one of the hardest physical transfers but Steven nails it every time.

We work on this with Steven a lot as it helps maintain independence, helps with motor control and also works on the same muscles that help to prevent falls.

A little glimpse into Alison’s session with Mollie.

It was all about building strength, improving mobility and working towards more confident movement.

Small steps, big progress 👏

Let’s go for a little walk….

Micheal had a stroke in December 2024 and then broke his hip in November 2025, this year we have been building and yesterday we walked outside for the first time in a year!

The gloves are on!

The boss still loves to get the boxing gloves on and have fun with it….what a legend!

Pad work is good for both her physical and cognitive health 😊.

Come take a walk with Kirsten!

We work a lot on Kirsten’s leg strength and stability which is really important as a wheelchair user to help with other aspects of daily living such as transfers and getting dressed.

Kirsten loves going for a walk and finding the tennis balls…before throwing them around the gym!

Kiera_cpfitness turns into Kiera_cpgolf?

Kiera has started golf lessons with Ross using the paragolfer. Ross has been working with Kiera on finding a grip that works for her and taking the club back straight…. here’s a wee sneak peak into one of her lessons.

Thanks to our pals at thegolftrust for supporting Kiera to get lessons!

Operation caravan!

Before his stroke one of Micheal’s favourite pastimes was to go down to his caravan.

Unfortunately since his stroke and subsequent hip fracture it’s something that he misses due to three steps up to the door.

Operation get into caravan is well underway…watch this space!

Leg day for Steven!

Yesterday was leg day for Steven, it’s important for Steven to train legs as a wheelchair user for blood flow, joint flexibility and bone strength….and because he likes training legs and going for a walk as much as he likes training abs (and that’s a lot!)
