From being told he’d be in a wheelchair to flexing his way forward …
When we first met Andy in April, walking was a real battle. Two elbow crutches, a plastic AFO, foot drop in both feet and virtually no movement at the right hip or knee.
Fast forward to now…
Andy’s in the AlterG Systems treadmill wearing the Flex4ward, actively flexing his hip and knee AND lifting his feet.
His goals? Better walking, fewer aids and tackling that foot drop - The progress? FABULOUS.
One step at a time… although we’re working on getting that knee bending a bit more 😉
