What if more young people had the skills and confidence to respond to a cardiac arrest?
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance is helping make that possible through its CPR Smart™ program, which has now reached 120 schools across Essex and Hertfordshire.
The program teaches CPR and defibrillator skills to teachers and sixth-form students, who can then share their knowledge with others.
By introducing these lifesaving skills at school, the initiative is helping prepare more young people to respond in an emergency, while spreading CPR awareness throughout their communities.
It's an approach that could help make CPR training accessible to more people, both inside and outside the classroom.
