channeled thoughts this morning …..
I like to imagine our lives as one big tree trunk…
Every difficult experience we go through chips away a little piece of the wood.
The losses.
The heartbreaks.
The people who left.
The people who stayed.
The people who supported us… and the ones who didn’t.
The mistakes, the lessons, the moments we thought we would never get through.
Chip. Chip. Chip.
But I don’t see that chipping away as a bad thing anymore.
Because every experience is slowly carving us into the most perfect statue of who we are meant to be .
It chips away at the ego.
The pride.
The stubbornness.
The need to control everything.
The parts of us that perhaps weren’t really us at all.
Until sometimes life brings us to a place where we feel completely vulnerable and we finally say…
“I can’t do this anymore. Please help me.”
And often we don’t even know who we’re speaking to.
God.
The Universe.
Source.
Something greater than ourselves.
And I think at our lowest point that’s often when we start to truly see.
We begin to notice the magic. We become softer, more humble, more grateful. We understand our boundaries. We stop accepting the s**t we once tolerated.
And eventually we realise that underneath everything, what we really want is actually very simple…
Peace. Love. Happiness. Connection.
Then one day we look back at that tree trunk we thought life was destroying…
and realise it was never destroying us.
It was carving us.
All those experiences were slowly revealing the most beautiful, authentic version of who we were always meant to be.
So when life feels like it’s chipping away at you, remember…
✨ Perhaps you’re not being broken apart.
Perhaps you’re being carved into who you were always meant to become. perfect you ! ✨
