To all our expecting mums: congratulations! 🍼✨

We get asked all the time if treatments like IPL, laser, and Radio Frequency are safe during pregnancy. The simple answer is: no, and here’s why.

Under UK safety standards and manufacturer guidelines, energy-based treatments are strictly off-limits while expecting. It’s not just about missing safety data for the baby your pregnancy hormones also make your skin far more sensitive and prone to hyperpigmentation (like melasma).

At OCASO Studio, your safety and well-being come above everything else.

✨ Already on a treatment plan? We will happily press 'pause' on your package and resume once you’ve welcomed your little one and finished breastfeeding.

Save this post for later, or drop us a message if you need to adjust your upcoming appointments!
