📸 A wee glimpse of Netherlee in 1935.

This photo shows Netherview Road when the houses were still new and the land beyond belonged to Stamperland Farm. Netherlee Park had been built on the former Netherlee Farm, as the area grew into the neighbourhood we know today.

It’s lovely to look back at the streets and stories around us. Does anyone recognise this view, or have family memories of Netherlee from years gone by? We’d love to hear them in the comments. 🩵

We love looking back at the history of our community. This photo shows Clarkston Road many years ago, when the buildings that once stood here were still part of daily life.

They’ve since been replaced, and today this spot is home to our Scots pharmacy at McLaren Place. Proudly serving Netherlee with friendly, local care.
