The Crystal Caster

Some more bad news yesterday. Many may have seen in the press already that the works in the market hall are not over. Each individual shop now needs its own vent and we're unlikely to be open for Christmas AGAIN!? To say I'm gutted is an understatement. I am angry and upset that the Council's incompetence has led to more than a years wait to open my shop! I have put everything into my business over the past 4 years, and I still can't open!!
I'm not sure where to go from here at all 😞
Fingers crossed I can get some last minute markets booked in before Christmas, and hopefully I can focus on getting the website up and running. Maybe even a live sale or two if there's enough interest? 🙏
Ps. Anyone know of any small shops to rent?

Great morning at the Bakewell Rock Exchange. Bought some new items for the shop and some for my personal collection ✨️

Some more extremely disappointing news today regarding the works in the market hall. The opening is now being pushed back again into October. It is so disheartening when this happens time and time again. Fingers crossed we're open for you all before Christmas 🙈🤣

That's a wrap for summer 2026! Thankyou so much to everyone who has visited the stall this summer. I'll be focusing on the final touches in the shop now. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on the opening date towards the end of September 🎉✨️
