Our team took one of our patients out to the golf course at School in Godalming to put his new foot through its paces. He's currently on a two-week trial of the Ottobock Evanto foot, and there's no better way to judge a prosthesis than in the real world: uneven ground, wet grass, slopes and plenty of twisting through the swing.
Trials like this are a key part of how we work. Rather than choosing a foot in the clinic and hoping for the best, we give patients the chance to live with a component, test it in the activities that matter to them, and tell us honestly how it performs. Then we decide together.
A great afternoon, despite the weather. Thanks to Charterhouse for having us.
