If you're raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person in Scotland, you may be able to apply for the Family Fund Scotland grant programme now.

Funded by the Scottish Government, their grants can help with some of the additional costs families face, such as:

▪️Kitchen appliances, including washing machines, fridges and ovens
▪️Beds, bedding and other essential furniture
▪️Sensory and play equipment
▪️Technology, such as tablets and iPads
▪️Family breaks and days out

Carers Rights Day is fast approaching!

Could someone you know be a carer without realising it?

Think about the people in your life. Is there a friend who regularly helps their mum? A neighbour who supports their partner? A colleague juggling paid work with looking after someone?

They might not recognise themselves as an unpaid carer or know about their rights and the support available.

From starting conversations with friends, family and neighbours about caring, to championing carer identification in our workplaces and services, we can all help people recognise sooner that they’re a carer.
