How Many Vials of Sculptra Do I Need?

It’s one of the most common questions I’m asked about Sculptra.

And the answer isn’t simply “one vial per decade of age” — despite what you may have heard.

The amount of Sculptra you need depends on your facial structure, degree of volume loss, skin quality, age and what we’re actually trying to achieve.

For some patients, a small amount may be appropriate. For others, particularly when we’re treating more significant age-related volume loss across the whole face, we may plan several vials over a course of treatment.

The important thing is that Sculptra isn’t a traditional filler.

It works by stimulating your own collagen production, so the goal is gradual, progressive improvement rather than suddenly making your face look “filled”.

In this video, I explain how I decide how many vials of Sculptra a patient actually needs — and why more isn’t automatically better.
