Not a lentil post today. This little chap is Zeke, I took him to his rescue today. He was quite timid but very sweet.(He did fart a lot though which wasn't my favourite part of the journey) He loves venison sausages but don't tell the girls they don't like sharing. He's only 3yrs old. Obviously I wanted to take him home but I'm not sure what the girls would have to say about it. I don't know if people know but stray dogs go to 'the pound' where they have 7days to be claimed by their owner. If no one comes for them they try to find a rescue willing to take them which can be very tricky because there's so few spaces.. if no one can fit them in some of them will be put to sleep, not because they're bad dogs just because there's no space. Zeke was lucky he's got a space so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him to find a new home. Everyone keep their fingers crossed for this little lad x forgot to add thanks to Wutheringhounds for the loan of their crate to travel in

Here we are on another Friday big shop (obviously I do know it’s Wednesday). This little hoard cost £64.13 - there’s two and a half litres of gorgeous Greek regenerative olive so that’s bumped up the price. However we are only £1.61 more expensive that the Tesco finest which isn’t single estate, bird friendly, super sustainable, hand picked. If you buy all the well known nasty chemical laden brands the whole shop would be £74.23 or the eco version would be £116.73. You’ll see that loo and floor cleaners are cheaper than here Weighsted but everything else is similar or more expensive. As always this bag was dropped off then paid for and collected, all in all it was a 4min transaction. I dread to think how long it would take to go round tesco with that horrid music and bright lights. You’ve got the drive there and back and have you seen the price of petrol not to mention the impact on the environment. Plus you can have it all dropped off by the top team at Cargodale . Save yourself time, money and your mental health by shopping here
