As a part of the conference, we are really proud to present the British Skin Foundation with a donation of ยฃ10,000!
The British Skin Foundation is the only UK charity that raises money to fund research into all types of skin diseases, including skin cancer, and, as a company founded by dermatologists, are a charity close to our teams' hearts.
Sixty percent of British people currently suffer from or have suffered with a skin disease at some point during their lifetime. Whilst some skin conditions are manageable, others are severe enough to kill.
The BSF help change that by raising money for vital research to help find cures and treatments for common skin conditions like eczema or acne, through to potential killers like malignant melanoma.
Founded in 1996, the British Skin Foundation has supported 450 research projects and awarded ยฃ19,500,000 in funding across all skin diseases.
By contributing to the Foundation's work, we hope to play a small part in driving better outcomes, earlier diagnoses and improved quality of life for patients.
We're really proud to be able to support the British Skin Foundation, and have made a further commitment to donate ยฃ5 for every patient validated through an Ozone Health waiting list programme, up to a total of ยฃ5,000 per programme.
