2026 UPDATE - SHARE TO SUPPORT
Lyndon Minor
Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a minute to properly introduce myself, tell you a little bit about who I am, and why I do what I do.
I’m Lyndon. I’m Glossop born and raised, and I’ve been working here for over 10 years. I was brought up by my lovely Grandma, who always encouraged my art from a young age. Funnily enough, she pulled quite a face when I got my first tattoo in New York… then years later cried with joy when I opened my first tattoo shop.
Most importantly, I want to say a massive thank you to every single loyal customer who continues to support my family-run business. Behind everything I do is my incredibly supportive partner and our two beautiful girls. Every time you book a tattoo, recommend me, share my work or come back for another piece, you’re supporting not just me, but my family too. I’ll never take that for granted. Thank you.
So, why choose me?
Deep down, I’m a concept artist. Give me an idea and I’ll explore it, develop it and find ways of turning it into something personal to you. I genuinely believe creativity comes from understanding the person behind the tattoo, not just typing a few words into an AI prompt.
Over the years I’ve won around 30 tattoo awards and counting, including multiple Best of Show awards and individual awards across colour, Neo Traditional and other categories.
Before tattooing, I actually started out as a portrait artist, and I still love getting back to that whenever I can between my colour, realism and fineline work.
I’ve now got 12 years of experience in tattooing, and I’ve also had the privilege of judging tattoos on stage at conventions. That experience has taught me a huge amount about what makes a tattoo work technically, artistically and, most importantly, for the person wearing it.
I’m not a “yes” person. I’m a “why?” person.
I want to know why you want your tattoo. What does it mean to you? Why that placement? Why that style? And then I want to explore what we can do to make the idea even better. Sometimes that means suggesting something you hadn’t considered, changing the composition or simply being honest when I think something could work better another way.
I’m here to listen. If you have an old tattoo that needs saving, a cover-up you thought was impossible, or a piece that just needs bringing back to life, I’ll always do everything I can to find the best solution for you.
I’m lucky enough to rub shoulders with some of the best artists from around the world, and one thing I’ve learned is that you never stop learning. I’m constantly picking up new techniques, ideas and ways to improve my work.
And yes… I can actually draw! Because, believe it or not, not everyone in this job can.
My background includes a degree in Games Design, honours in Art, full training in cross-contamination and blood-borne pathogens, two completed courses covering the recognition of skin conditions, and CPD training.
I also now have my own podcast, Chattoos, available on YouTube and Spotify. It gives you a look into the tattoo industry, the artists behind the work, and all the weird and wonderful conversations we have along the way.
My current rates are £100 per hour, £260 for a 3.5-hour half day, and £510 for a full 7-hour day. The more time you commit to, the better the overall rate.
For smaller tattoos and pieces, just drop me a message and we can discuss what works best.
I work across Black & Grey Realism, Fineline, Traditional, Neo Traditional, New School, Colour Realism, Pattern Work, full sleeves and large-scale work, Japanese, Cover-Ups, Reworks… and pretty much anything else you can throw at me.
After 12 years, I still love what I do, I’m still learning, and I’m still excited every time somebody trusts me with a new idea.
Love you all, and thank you for keeping me doing what I love.
See you for your next tattoo.
