As highlights of my Slimming World consultant role go - yesterday was up there as one of my proudest ❤️

It was an absolute joy to be at head office yesterday with our gorgeous Tracey Margaret Dunn as she was invited to the National semi finals of Woman of the Year 2026 ❤️

Tracey was one of 36 exceptional ladies invited to share their weight loss journey stories - which made for such an emotional, inspiring, heart lifting day ❤️

We got to meet and have photos with Boxing champion and strictly come dancing star ✨ Nicola Adams.

We had an incredible lunch in the Slimming World restaurant 😋

We got to cheer on those incredible ladies that made it through to the next stages too ❤️

I always say to every member that is nominated for our group competitions - we never join Slimming World to be a part of a competition we join because we want to discover a happier, healthier version of ourselves and along the way our journey and the challenges we overcome inspires others and they want to acknowledge the small part you play in helping them believe they too can achieve their own success ❤️

Tracey is a shining example of that ✨

We are so blooming proud of her -

She joined on a Slimming World referral and says having that 12 weeks free to get started made all the difference.

Tracey lost 7.5lb in her first week and successfully lost well over the 5% required to qualify for a further 12 week referral 😊 before going on to lose a total of 7 stone 9lb and calling target 🎯

I asked Tracey what had been different this journey and she credits staying to group as one of the fundamental factors in her success ❤️ she said its where she learns new recipes, slimming tips and most important where she discovered about herself as a slimmer and the mindset shifts she needed/wanted to make.

In fact when I looked back on Tracey's journey she only missed 4 groups between joining and reaching target 🎯
That's incredible commitment - even weighing in other groups whilst on holiday 😊

To see her step out of her comfort zone and shine brighter than ever yesterday ✨ I was honestly so proud ❤️

Well done Tracey you are a true Sunny Hunny Superstar ❤️

So proud to have attended the Slimming World Oscars and collected the new Emerald Elite award in recognition of supporting 55 members to target over a 12 month period 💚
Even more proud to learn that this amazing achievement was achieved by only 29 groups out of over 3000 plus groups across the UK and Ireland 💚

FOR THOSE THINKING OF RE-JOINING
It's the start of possibly the busiest week of the year and I just wanted to add something to the mix. This post is for all you members out there who are 'thinking' of rejoining this SW group this week or next.
And in 'thinking' I mean you saying to yourself "oh my goodness, I haven't been in ages, and I have put all the weight I lost back on, I have rejoined so many times now, I am a lost cause, I am destined to never succeed, I'm terrified that they will think I am pathetic".
These feelings are what keep us down but rest assured that in our group you will be welcomed back with a smile and open arms like you're an old friend. And MOST importantly there is no shame, blame or humiliation.
So, re-joining members everywhere, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and prove to yourself (as nobody else really matters) what you're made of and who knows, 2026 could be the year of your life!
