🌟 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🌟

This client came to me with pain beneath the shoulder blade, particularly during certain movements and while lifting weights.

Following a full assessment, I began with Manual Fascial Release to assess how the tissues were moving and identify areas of restriction and tension. As the fascial restrictions became clearer through treatment, targeted static cupping was then applied to those specific areas, not in a random pattern but to help decompress the tissues, reduce muscle tension and encourage improved mobility.

This is why every treatment looks different. Cup placement is based on what I find during assessment and treatment, ensuring it is tailored to your body rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Not all cupping marks are the same, and darker doesn’t automatically mean “worse.”

The colour and intensity of a mark can vary depending on factors such as:
✨ Muscle tension
✨ Local blood flow
✨ Skin sensitivity
✨ The area being treated
✨ Your body’s individual response

Cupping marks are a normal response to treatment and usually fade within 3–10 days.

To support recovery:
✨Stay well hydrated
✨Keep gently moving
✨Rest if your body needs it

Every body responds differently, so your marks may not look the same as someone else’s and that’s completely normal.

I’m pleased to now offer silicone suction cupping alongside my static plastic cupping, giving me even more ways to tailor your treatment to your individual needs.

Although both use negative pressure to gently lift and decompress the tissues, each technique has its own unique benefits.

✨ Ideal for stubborn muscle tension and fascial restrictions

🌟 Silicone Suction Cupping
✨ Soft, flexible cups that glide across the skin
✨ Ideal for more sensitive areas
✨ Helps improve fascial mobility and tissue hydration
✨ Can be used over and around fully healed scars to improve tissue mobility and reduce restrictions
✨ Particularly useful around joints such as the knees, hips, shoulders and elbows where movement may be restricted

Every treatment is personalised, so I may use static cups, silicone cups, or a combination of both, depending on your assessment, symptoms and treatment goals.

These can all be signs that your body is compensating elsewhere.
