A big well done to Ashley and Rahim, who achieved ROSC (Return of Spontaneous Circulation) while on shift in the East Suffolk CFR car yesterday evening! 🚗

Just 3 minutes away, they were first on scene, providing vital emergency care until further ambulance crews arrived.

It’s moments like these that show just how important having trained volunteer responders in our local communities can be.

📞🚑 Happy Emergency Services / 999 Day 🚓🚒

Today is a reminder of the incredible people behind every 999 response ❤️

When someone makes that call, they’re often having one of the worst moments of their life. From the person answering the phone, to the dispatcher, ambulance crew, CFR, police officer or firefighter who responds — every person plays a part.

As Community First Responders, we’re proud to volunteer our time and be there for our community when those vital minutes matter most 💚

Have you ever thought about what you’d do if someone suddenly collapsed in front of you?

CPR and using a defibrillator can seem quite daunting, especially if you’ve never done it before — but it really doesn’t have to be.

As Community First Responders, we’re happy to offer FREE CPR and AED awareness sessions to local workplaces, businesses, community groups and organisations.

We’ll show you the basics, give you the chance to have a go, and hopefully help you feel a little more confident should you ever find yourself in that situation.

You never know when these skills might be needed, and knowing what to do could make a real difference. ❤️

A regional community response car could be the first to arrive in a life threating emergency.

These cars are used by trained volunteer community first responders and are equipped with specialist equipment to provide essential life-saving care to the community.
