We are delighted to announce a very special new collaboration - From the 9th of October, Access Dermatology will be running Friday clinics from our Kelso practice! 🥳

Company director, Martin Giebner, is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with a special interest and training in Primary Care Dermatology. His knowledge and expertise are invaluable and a very welcome service to patients across the Scottish Borders and beyond.

FRIDAY APPOINTMENTS IN KELSO - BOOKABLE NOW!

Well, I did promise exciting news - and here it is!

Access Dermatology really is switching up a few gears in October - not only am I expanding my offering to be available EVERY SATURDAY at Melrose Foot Care - Melrose Clinic, as of today there are also FRIDAY appointments bookable, starting on October 9th. 😄

Tweed Podiatry in Kelso have very kindly agreed to a make one of their excellent clinic rooms in the heart of Kelso available for my patients on Fridays. So if you've been wanting to see me for a mole check or to get an unwanted lesion removed, but struggle to make time on Saturdays, there is now a weekday option!

There has always been significant clinical overlap between the 2 disciplines of Dermatology and Podiatry, and although separate, there has historically been a lot of scientific cross-fertilisation and mutual learning.

That's why, when searching for new locations for Access Dermatology, Podiatry clinics are top of the list.

I am absolutely delighted to now be sharing clinic space with two of the best in the area.

We are beyond thrilled to have taken delivery of Scotland's very first C25 Diagnostic Ultrasound Machine from ! 🥳

After 5 years of dedicated service, our older machine (Hedwig as we knew her 🦉) is on to pastures new, as we look ahead to delivering our new and improved ultrasound imaging service with this truly cutting-edge piece of kit.

2024 has been the most challenging and rewarding year beyond any imagination.

Chief amongst the year's achievements have been not 1 but 2 of the amazing women in our team bringing their first children into the world.

We've grown from a team of 2 podiatrists to 4 and number 5 on the way very soon. In the last 6 months, we've moved to our new practice with major upgrades in our clinical spaces and a private gym & rehab suite (a video tour is in the works!).

Yep. We've been busy.

We are proud of all that has been achieved and deeply moved by the tireless support and kindness of our friends, family and patients. You know who you are but you don't know how much you mean to us.
