Support Worker – £15.00 per hour

Day Shifts & Waking Nights | Rolling Rota
Consummate Care Ltd is recruiting **Support Workers** to join a dedicated team supporting a young man in his own home in Desborough.
This is a 24-hour support package, so the role includes both day shifts and waking night shifts on a rolling rota. We are looking for people who are calm, reliable and consistent, and who understand the importance of building trust and providing support in a way that is genuinely centred around the individual.
The person you will be supporting has complex needs and may at times present behaviours that challenge. Previous experience in care, autism, learning disabilities, complex needs or positive behaviour support would therefore be beneficial.
You do not need to know everything on day one. What matters is that you are dependable, able to remain calm when situations are difficult, willing to learn and able to work closely with the rest of the team.
Your role will include supporting with daily routines, activities, accessing the community, developing independence and helping the individual to maintain a meaningful and fulfilling life.

What we need from you
You must:
* Hold a full driving licence valid in the UK
* Have access to and use of your own car
* Be able to work both day shifts and waking night shifts
* Be able to work weekends as part of the rolling rota
* Be reliable, patient and consistent
* Be willing to complete all required training and an enhanced DBS check
Previous experience in care is beneficial, particularly where this has involved supporting people with autism, learning disabilities, complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
