The Avensys Medical team were delighted to attend and be part of BAUN 2026 recently. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people and showcase our latest bladder scanning technology.

Our live demonstrations proved particularly popular, giving delegates the chance to get hands-on with the scanner and experience its capabilities first-hand.

We received some excellent feedback, particularly around the scanner’s ease of use and exceptional image clarity. One delegate even returned three times for another demonstration!

Alongside the demonstrations, we had some valuable conversations about the service and support we provide. With a dedicated UK-based support team, we're able to offer flexible packages tailored to the individual requirements of each NHS Trust.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand and took the time to speak with the team. It was a pleasure to be involved in such a great event, and we look forward to continuing those conversations.

Ultrasound servicing doesn't have to sit with the manufacturer.

Avensys Training has done it again. Our new City & Guilds accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Maintenance course gives in-house engineering teams the knowledge and practical skills to maintain diagnostic ultrasound devices themselves.

Over 5 days, learners cover the engineering principles behind diagnostic ultrasound, including the piezoelectric effect, and how B mode, M mode, Doppler and 3D/4D imaging are used in the clinical environment. They then put it into practice with hands-on quality assurance, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on ultrasound machines.

✔️ City & Guilds digital credentials you can share on LinkedIn
✔️ 5 days of theory and hands-on practical work
✔️ Delivered by experienced industry professionals

Ideal for medical engineers, biomedical technicians and clinical engineers who already have experience in electrical safety testing of medical devices.
