Lanark Community First Responders

Great day out yesterday at the Carluke Jam & Ham Festival! 🍓🍖

Our Community First Responders had a brilliant time joining forces with Open Water Rescue at the Carluke Community Fire Station open day.

We loved chatting with everyone in the community, running live demonstrations, and giving hands-on practice with CPR and AEDs. With the Water Rescue giving demonstrations of Public Water Rescue Equipment and water safety advice.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn a life-saving skill! ❤️🩹🛟

A huge thank you to Lodge Hozier! 💙

Our volunteers are immensely grateful to the Right Worshipful Master and Members of Masonic Lodge Hozier, Douglas Water No 912 for their wonderful donation toward our latest community project!

This generous support will directly fund lifesaving training equipment for our recently launched Tracey Lammie Community Training Project, which aims to equip members of the public with vital skills in CPR, AED use and basic lifesaving awareness.

Without the ongoing support of local organisations, businesses and the public our volunteers simply couldn't provide these essential services to the towns and villages we serve.

Thank you for helping us make a real difference! 🩺✨

🌹 Day of Reflection in Memory of Tracy Lammie 🌹

Today, we take a moment as a Lanark Community First Responders family, alongside our wider CFR colleagues, to reflect on the life and service of Tracy Lammie.

Tracy dedicated so much of her time to helping others, both as a valued Community First Responder and through her caring nature in her professional life and everyday acts of kindness. She touched the lives of so many across Lanark and beyond with her compassion, commitment, and selflessness.

Today is a day for us to pause, remember, and reflect on the difference Tracy made to our community and the many lives she impacted.

We invite those who knew Tracy, worked alongside her, or were touched by her kindness to join us in taking a quiet moment of reflection in her memory. 💜

Our thoughts remain with Tracy’s family, friends, colleagues, and everyone feeling this loss.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. 🌹
