Wow, what a humbling wonderful day at Jing Institute of Massage & Complementary Medicine
I can now add scar treatment into your clinical massage session.
Scars from C-sections, hysterectomys, breast surgeries, joint replacement or for any other reasons, can sometimes feel tight, sensitive and restricted sometimes for many years!
As well as physical symptoms, scars tell a story and can often have emotions tied in with them.
I hold a safe space for you where we can incorporate some scar treatment into your session to help with sensitivity, tightness and pulling, and also to help you connect to an area of your body that may have been through a lot 🌿❤️‍🩹

I have specific pain but still want to relax 😌 what should I book?
The beauty of Manukas clinical massage is you are not treated as separate bits! You are treated as a whole being, (mind, body and soul) so yes we will pay particular attention to your pain issue, and use the appropriate treatments to get you relief, but it's done in a holistic way leaving you feeling cared for and relaxed 🌿💗

Another day of incorporating the Tecar Therapy into my clinical massages. Today were both hip issues. I like to wait a couple of days before getting feedback, so will let you all know!

This evening I have tested the 20min pelvic pain protocol on the Winback Tecar machine.
I had an electrode pad on my back and my front. I loved it, it felt warm and tingly, I could feel it switch from front to back. I have no pain myself but am excited for my client with Adenomyosis to use this tomorrow 🙌 🤗 I will post results on my story tomorrow 💖

All pain is personal and I would never assume to know exactly how you feel!
It took me many years (12) to get diagnosed with Endometriosis and fibroids and I lived in pretty much constant untreated pain. I know how chronic pain drags you down and exhausts you. I know you get to the point where you dont want to hear yourself repeatedly saying your in pain.
I know the vulnerability of having limited range of motion as I had a Frozen Shoulder for 18 months, I know how hard it is getting dressed, doing your hair, sleeping, seatbelts, the fear of hugs! The everyday things you cant do, the fear it may never get better!
Neither of these things can be 'cured' with clinical massage but they can be helped, eased, recovery speeded up, you can be heard, we can make plans to improve small daily things.
So many of us soldier on, afraid to 'moan', and have no choice but to work through it.
Well I'm listening and I'm here.
