If someone asked me what I know about Archie…

I’d say Archie is my nephew, and he makes me so very proud every single day. ❤️

I’d say he is the bravest, happiest, kindest boy I’ve ever met. A smile that can brighten up any room, and a heart that deserves the absolute world.

I’d say I’m one of his biggest supporters, protectors and cheerleaders, and I’ll forever be in his corner, no matter what life throws at him.

I’d also say how lucky I am to be so close to you in life. To watch you grow, to love you, to stand beside you and to be part of your journey.

I would do absolutely anything for you, Archie. And I will continue to do everything in my power to make your dreams come true, to give you reasons to smile, and to make sure you know just how loved you are.

Because if there’s one thing I want you to know, it’s that you will never have to face this world without people fighting your corner.

I love you more than words could ever explain. Always your aunty, always your biggest cheerleader. ❤️

🫣🫣 IT HAPPENED! 🫣🫣🐾❤️

Well… we really didn’t expect to be making this post today! 😂❤️

Meet Alfie the tweenie Dachshunds.

I came on earlier asking for advice and guidance about getting a puppy for Archie, genuinely just looking for some advice… and somehow, we’ve ended up with one! 🥹🐶

But if there’s one thing we’ve learnt as a family, it’s that we have to live for today. ❤️

Archie wanted a miniature dachshund, and that’s exactly what we’ve done. I know they can come with health problems, and I’ve taken that into consideration. But if any challenges come our way, we’ll face them together when the time comes.

As you all know, we’re a family who just wings it day by day. Life has taught us not to put everything off until tomorrow, because tomorrow isn’t promised. ❤️

So here we are, adding another little member to our crazy family, and I think it’s safe to say someone is going to be very loved! 🐾🥹

A massive thank you to border terrier and dachshunds, truly amazing guy. Thank you for everything. ❤️

Sometimes you just have to say yes to the little things that bring a bit of happiness into your world. 🐶❤️🫶🏻

Archie doesnt know he’s one step closer to possible having one.

Archie has always wanted a sausage dog/ miniature dachshund.

But with the amount of time in hospital it just wasn’t possible.

But as it stands right now Archie shouldn’t need many more (fingers crossed).

If one thing we have learnt is time Stands for know one.

Does anyone have a dachshund, is there anything to look out for when buying a dachshund.?

I’d go pick one up today as the auntie that doesn’t think first 🤣🫣

Following a year of golf and fundraising. The Seniors have raised a fantastic £1,000 for Archie’s Cancer Journey.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed and supported Archie and us as a family.

Absolutely pleasure meeting with Stuart the captain, thank you all for always making us feel so welcome and apart of the family. ❤️

A beautiful Filey lady, gave auntie Chrissy a message asking to buy a Lego set for Archie.

In the end she called and asked to drop £1000 off for Archie to buy what he wants.

So you best believe when he’s feeling up to it we are going on a mega Lego shop!

He got a beautiful card that had auntie Chrissy and mum tearing up.

She has also offered to make him one of her famous cheese cakes and he jumped at that wanting an Oreo one. With a promise to match the money when he’s rang the bell 🔔.

🎅🏼REVIVAL’S CHRISTMAS BAKE SALE 🎅🏼

Our last bake sale raised an amazing £800 for Breast Cancer Now, and now we’re back for another one! 🩷

This time, we’re raising money to buy Christmas presents and treats for the children on Scarborough Hospital’s children’s ward, bringing a little Christmas magic to those who sadly can’t be at home on Christmas Day. 🎁🎄

Inspired by Archie’s Cancer Journey, we’re so excited to have Archie, our very own local hero, helping us and being involved every step of the way! ❤️🥹

Just look at his. Wouldn’t think less than a week ago he was in a major operation.

His drains are out and we might even be looking at home today, MAYBE!

Archie’s breathing tests are all good.

He’s managed to smash 5 sets of Lego.

💙 ARCHIE UPDATE 💙

We finally have an update on our boy.

Archie is doing okay, and thankfully the surgeon is happy with how the operation went. They have removed all of the pieces of cancer they were able to find, but it was a much bigger and more brutal operation than we could have hoped for.

To remove the cancer, Archie has lost 60% of his lung. 💔

It’s difficult to take that in when you look at this little 12-year-old who has already been through so much. But he continues to amaze us with how strong and brave he is.

He is currently hooked up to lots of machines, with an epidural, strong pain relief and several drains. He looks uncomfortable and very sore, but when we ask him how he is, he tells us he’s fine.

Because, of course, Archie is always fine. ❤️ Even when he absolutely isn’t!

The next few days will be about keeping his pain under control, watching him closely and giving his body time to recover from what has been a huge operation.

We are so relieved to hear the surgeon is happy with how things went, but we know there is still a long road ahead. And with the other lung still needing surgery, we are trying to take everything one step at a time.

But now for the important bit… 😂

Sammy told me I could go and get Archie a few Lego sets out of his money for when he comes home… with a set budget. 🫣

Well…

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. 😂

I spent EVERY SINGLE PENNY. 🤣🧱

So when this boy finally gets home, he’s going to have enough Lego to keep him busy for quite some time! 😂❤️

One operation down. One day at a time.

Keep fighting, Archie. We love you more than you’ll ever know. 💙

Archie’s out of surgery around, he’s in recovery and then been taken to a ward.

Sammy is just trying to get her head around all the information she’s been given, once she has seen Archie and had time to update family. We will give you an update. But he’s doing well.
