“Amor Fati” - love your fate

A simple phrase with a lot of meaning behind it. The idea of accepting everything life throws at you, good and bad, rather than wishing any part of it had happened differently.

This was a larger script tattoo I did across the ribs a while back. Nice and simple, but the size and placement give it plenty of impact without needing anything else around it.

My client wanted a bold but subtle look for this forearm tattoo, combining a stipple shaded mountain range with a quote that holds significance to them. Really enjoyed getting the balance right with this one, keeping it bold enough to stand out without making it feel too heavy.

A really meaningful delicate memorial tattoo 🩶

This one was such a special piece to work on. Keeping the footprints delicate and true to their original size was really important, and it was lovely seeing how much the finished tattoo meant to my client.

Some tattoos just mean that little bit more🙌🏼
This paw print was done in memory of a very loved dog who is sadly no longer here.

I worked from the original paw impression I was sent and kept as much of the natural detail as possible, whilst giving it a more realistic touch.

We added their name underneath in the same font I used on a portrait that I tattooed on their partner a while back, which made this piece feel even more special 🐾

It's always an honour to be trusted with tattoos like this. Losing a pet is incredibly hard, but I really hope having a little piece of them close brings some comfort🩶

A black and grey realism chest piece featuring the Virgin Mary and a fallen angel, framed with gothic church window detailing

Loved working on this one - dark and dramatic in presence, but still soft enough through the faces to keep the emotion in the piece. Lots of heavy contrast, smooth grey tones, and a layout made to sit properly across the chest. Client sat like an absolute champ, especially considering the studio was like an oven!

This project started long before the tattoo did🌊

Before we began, the area had already been through several laser sessions, giving us more freedom when designing the final piece.

The client wanted something meaningful rather than simply covering what was already there. He chose Cummins Falls in Tennessee, a place tied to family memories and holidays.

They didn't want the new piece pushed any higher up the shoulder and upper back, and also wanted to avoid making the tattoo darker than it needed to be purely to cover the original work.

The laser sessions gave us more flexibility to place darker areas where they worked naturally within the design, rather than where they were needed just to hide what was underneath.

Really enjoyed bringing this one together.

A while back I shared the start of this backpiece with the Buddha at the base..

Over a number of shorter sessions we’ve been building the rest of the design around it, and we’re finally getting close to the point where I can show the whole piece.

For now, here’s the healed elephant section🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Large-scale black and grey realism projects like this are always rewarding to see come together one section at a time.
