The side of care we very rarely share.
However, I wanted to share this — not only to praise our incredible staff, but also to highlight something that was written to me in response to a post.
Firstly, a huge well done to the staff who attended this client. This is exactly why we set up Executive Carers.
For us, it has never been about the money or simply about growth. It is about giving our clients the care they truly deserve, while giving our staff the support, respect and work-life balance they deserve too.
We created Executive Carers because we wanted to do things differently.
Now, to address a comment made towards me:
“Hopefully a social care system will do away with this industry.”
I have to be honest, I was quite taken aback by this comment.
The reality is that many people will need care at some point in their lives, and I genuinely believe that understanding the care industry means understanding the people behind it — the carers who turn up every day, support families, protect dignity and make a real difference to someone’s quality of life.
Of course, there are organisations within social care that don’t always get it right. But please don’t group everyone together.
We work closely with the NHS and local authorities, and we are incredibly proud of the reputation we have built across Staffordshire. Our relationships with professionals, clients and families are at the heart of everything we do.
Executive Carers was built by a family, from personal experiences, with a very clear vision: to be different.
We will never be the “normal” care company.
We will continue to put people before profit, quality before quantity, and our clients and staff at the centre of everything we do.
Because good care isn’t just a service.
