This isn’t EVERYONE with ADHD…
But, do listen to what Alex has to say…
I resonate with this 100%.
Small talk is very draining for some people.
It’s most probably why I LOVE what I do so very much!
👉🏼 Deep conversations
👉🏼 Authentic conversations.
👉🏼 Meaningful conversations.
👉🏼 Acutally connecting with communication.
These are things that I really thrive on and feel passionate about.
This is why I’m not a fan of traditional networking. It drains the life out of me.
(I also don’t function my best early in the morning and there’s only one 7 o’clock in my day!)
I’ve had the same hair stylist for over 20 years. I really look forward to my hair appointment because we don’t do meaningless small talk. His genuine communication and connection matters to me.
This is essential in business…
It makes for a better connection all round and some INCREDIBLE things come from congruent connections:
👉🏼 Loyalty.
👉🏼 Longevity.
👉🏼 Repeat custom.
👉🏼 Opportunities that genuinely align.
👉🏼 Thriving and flourishing in your business.
Suddenly, ADHD isn’t a negative thing then is it?
The next time you eye roll 🙄 when someone mentions any form of neurodiversity: think of this post. You’re actually missing out.
💙 IMPORTANT NOTICE:
I’m in the process of creating CPD training on the positive psychology around neurodiversity and inclusion.
If you’re interested in seeing what this is all about when it drops… pop your email address in at our CPD hub page and you’ll be the first to know when it’s going to arrive and there may be discount code in it for you 😉
