🎉 BIG NEWS — SEN STAY & PLAY IS NOW OPEN TO ALL AGES! 🎉

Wednesday, 4th Nov and Wednesday, 11th Nov now available to book!

We’ve listened to your feedback, and we are delighted to announce that we are removing the age restriction from our SEN Stay & Play sessions at Grove Activity Centre. 💜
🌈 Children, young people AND adults with SEN are all welcome!
Our Stay & Play gives you access to our:
🧸 Creative Minds Room – LEGO, toys, dinosaurs & more
🌌 UV Dark Room – immersive visuals and a relaxing sensory experience
🌈 Sensory Lit Hall – colourful lighting, music and plenty of space
♿ Changing Places Bathroom
⏰ 3.15pm – 5.30pm
🎟️ £10 per ticket
👨‍👩‍👧 Carer or family member goes FREE
⚠️ Only 15 spaces available per session
Our sessions are designed to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive space to play, explore, relax, socialise and enjoy something different — whatever your age. 💜
Stay & Play will run weekly during term time, and Direct Payments can be used, making it a great option for PAs, carers and families looking for an accessible activity.

🌈💜 What a fantastic day at Sensability and Live Life Well-Being Centre SEN Wellness and Information Day!💜🌈 sponsored by Apex Housing Association.

The Grove was filled with positivity, connection and plenty of smiles as we welcomed parents, children and young adults with additional needs for a very special morning of wellness, relaxation and support.

From the Sensory Disco and UV Sensory Dark Room to parachute relaxation and sound baths, there was something for everyone to enjoy! 🎶✨

Meanwhile, parents had the opportunity to relax, connect with others and access valuable information and advice on a range of topics, including reflexology, physiotherapy, Post-19 support and sensory play at home.

Thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make the day such a success!

Events like this highlight just how important it is to create inclusive spaces where families feel welcomed, supported and connected.

We are holding a Wellness and Information Day this Saturday 17th October and have a few spaces available if any families are interested. It's suitable for young people with a severe learning difficulty with complex needs. Please send our page a message for more information.

⚠️ ONLY 15 SPACES AVAILABLE per session

Come along and enjoy our Creative Minds Room, UV Dark Room and Sensory Lit Hall — a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where you can play, relax, explore and be creative.

💜 Using Direct Payments?
Stay & Play is a great option for PAs, Carers and families using Direct Payments. This is a great activity option for your carer. There is plenty of time to enjoy the facilities without feeling rushed — and as the colder, darker winter months approach, it provides a warm, comfortable indoor space to get out of the house, socialise and enjoy something different. Barista Coffee Bar and vending machine available for drinks and snacks.

♻️ And will be running Stay & Play sessions on a weekly basis (term time).

🎫 Online Booking is essential, session booking numbers are restricted to 15 spaces, helping us maintain a comfortable and enjoyable environment.
