The diagnosis behind my brain surgery. 8 weeks post tumor resection. 🧠🥳
and I miss you all! ❤️
⏳ The operation lasted a few hours.
Nobody really prepares you for what comes afterwards.
Not the surgery itself, but the decisions you have to make and learning to live with them.

🧬 The science, in short.
⭐️ Astrocytoma is a type of brain tumor that begins in astrocytes - the star-shaped cells that support and protect your brain.
💥 Vorasidenib is a new treatment designed for certain brain tumours, specifically astrocytoma and oligodendroglioma with IDH1 or IDH2 mutations. It works by targeting these mutations, potentially slowing tumour growth and offering hope to those with limited treatment options.
