Are you looking for a new opportunity in care, or thinking about starting a completely new career?

Damfield Gardens is holding a Recruitment Open Day, and we’d love you to come along, meet the team and find out what it’s like to work with us.

We currently have opportunities for Senior Carers, Care Assistants and Domestic Staff, as well as opportunities for Volunteers.

There’s no need to make it formal. Just bring yourself and come ready for a chat. Whether you already have experience in care or you’re considering a new career, we’d be delighted to meet you.

We are absolutely delighted to show you a sneak peek of our recently redecorated pub area at Damfield Gardens.

Not only does it have a fresh, welcoming new look, but we have also installed a brand-new TV perfect for catching the big games, classic films, or enjoying a good old-fashioned pub quiz!.

Our pub is always a favourite spot for a catch-up, and our Activities Team is already busy planning a fantastic line-up of upcoming events and socials to host in there.

☀️Summer Fair at Damfield Gardens☀️

Our Summer Fair was a great day for everyone at Damfield Gardens. We were lucky with the weather, and the sunshine helped make it an enjoyable day for our residents, their families, friends, and staff.

A big thank you to all of our staff, who worked hard to organise the event and make sure everything ran smoothly. Their effort and teamwork made the day a success.

We would also like to thank everyone who donated towards the fair and all of the volunteers who gave up their time to help. Your support is greatly appreciated and helped make the day possible.
Most importantly, it was lovely to see our residents enjoying themselves and spending time with family and friends.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Summer Fair such a successful event.

🌸 June Highlights at Damfield Gardens Care Home 🌸

June was filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of smiles here at Damfield Gardens Care Home.

Throughout the month, our residents enjoyed celebrating Mojito Day, a lovely visit from Cosmo the therapy dog, planting new flowers in the garden, making beautifully scented lavender bags, taking part in our Walk and Talk sessions, and working together on jigsaw puzzles.

These activities encouraged creativity, gentle exercise, social interaction, and lots of laughter, creating wonderful memories for everyone involved.

A big thank you to our amazing residents, staff, families for making June such a special month. We hope you enjoy looking through our photos and sharing in some of our favourite moments! 📸💕

A coffee morning for our residents was set up by Lorraine (Activities Coordinator). Family and friends were invited along to play games, enjoy music, have a coffee, tea and chat. Cakes were on sale. People were able to buy raffle tickets to win various prizes ranging from toiletry packs, to w**e and spirits.
