☀️ GOOD MORNING & HAPPY THURSDAY! 😊💗

WE HAVE NEW CARPET! 🙌🏻😍 And call me crazy, but I LOVE that new carpet smell! 🤣 Yes, apparently I'm at the stage of life where new flooring excites me! 😂

The only thing left is for the carpet fitter to come back and trim the cupboard door so it actually fits back on. Minor detail! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I'm working from home today, Dakota is off to her friend's house, and we've got TWO deliveries arriving! 📦

Dakota's new bed AND my new wardrobe! 🙌🏻

Guess what we'll be doing this evening? Building flat-pack furniture! 🔧🤣

Nothing says romance quite like spending your evening arguing over instructions, hunting for missing screws and wondering why you've got three bits left over! 😂😂

What's everyone else up to today? 😊

Please tell me someone has more exciting plans than me! 🤣☕❤️

☀️ Happy Wednesday! 😊

I'm finally starting to feel a bit more human, although the exhaustion is REAL! 🥱

I went back to work yesterday, working from home, and my goodness, I was absolutely shattered afterwards! 😴 Who knew sitting at a laptop could take so much out of you?! 😂

Today is a day off, and we've got the new carpet being laid in Dakota's bedroom 🏡💙 One step closer to getting her room finished!

Then it's off to Dakota's swimming lesson this afternoon 🏊‍♀️

In between, I'm taking it easy, catching up on some admin and debating whether to batch-cook a casserole because the veg needs using by tomorrow. 🥕🥔😂

So, what's everyone else up to today? 👇

Are you busy being productive, working, or having a much-needed lazy day? 😍

26/10/2026

🤧 I'M BORED. I'M ILL. AND I'M LOSING THE PLOT! 🤣😭

I've done nothing but sleep for days and I'm SO ready to get back to normality and actually DO something! 😩

Instead, I've reached the stage of giving my printer googly eyes. 👀🖨️

My printer has officially seen more action than I have this week! 💀🤣

Send help. Or chocolate. Or both! 🍫😂

🌧️ Good morning, everyone! 🌬️

It's wet and windy here, and I'm still not feeling great. 😷🤧

I saw the doctor yesterday and I've got that flu-like lurgy that's doing the rounds. Apparently, it can last a couple of weeks, and as I'm only a few days in, I've still got a way to go! 😩

Because of my asthma, I've been prescribed steroids and antibiotics, so it's lots of rest and sleep for me for now. 🛌💤

📦 Orders update: I'll keep an eye on orders as much as I can, but please bear with me while I recover. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. ❤️

I've literally done nothing but sleep all day, so I'm listening to my body and taking it easy!

Hope you all have a lovely day and stay warm and dry! 💕😘 xx

20/10/2026

☀️ GOOD MORNING, YOU LOVELY LOT! ☕️🤧

Well, I had plans to get some painting done today and FINALLY get the actual colour on the walls… 🎨

But apparently, my body had other ideas! 🙄 The lurgy has well and truly arrived, got worse as yesterday went on, and I now look like Rudolph! 🦌🤣

Last night’s survival kit included vapour rub, a hot toddy and an early night. Fingers crossed I can shake this off soon! 🤞🏻😷

📦 A little Dakota Crafts update!

All orders will be ready for dispatch next week, apart from two that will be ready the following week. ❤️

Between feeling like death warmed up and not being able to get into the craft room properly because it’s currently doubling as a storage unit while we decorate Dakota’s bedroom… things are a little chaotic! 😂

🎨 The bedroom makeover continues… just possibly at the speed of a snail this week! 🐌

Anyway, enough about my snotty nose and decorating drama! 🤣

👇 WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS TODAY?

Working? Crafting? Chilling? Battling the lurgy like me? 🤧

Tell me what you're up to! Let's have a natter. ❤️

👑 The Mini Boss has spoken!

19/10/2026

☕️ GOOD MORNING & HAPPY MONDAY! ☕️

Well, the weather has definitely got the memo that summer is over! 🥶🤣

Yesterday we had an almighty gust of wind followed by torrential rain ☔️💨

And this morning? COLD! I'm actually wearing a jumper AND a jacket 😆 First time in forever! Won't be long before the hat, gloves and scarf make an appearance! 🧣🧤

It's been an eventful weekend in the decorating department too! 🏠🎨

✅ Hole in the wall fixed (although there's still a little dip/dent 👀)
✅ Undercoat is ON 🙌
✅ More sanding dust on me than anywhere else in the house 🤣

Today it's the day job for me, followed by a chilled evening because I think a cold might be trying to gatecrash my week 🤧 Absolutely NOT invited, thank you very much!

Right then, enough about me... 👀

WHAT'S EVERYONE ELSE UP TO THIS MONDAY?

Working, crafting, battling the weather or still hiding under the duvet? 😂👇

Have a good one, everyone! ❤️
