Meet the Counsellors at LCRH.

Natasha:

“As adults who are used to running our lives successfully, we understandably struggle with the feelings encountering the unknown brings up for us. The process of trying to conceive is steeped in the unknown and so naturally challenges everyone in unique ways and at different times. It’s important to me that fertility counselling is flexible and adaptable to the needs of each individual. For most, fertility counselling is not about delving deep into our psyche or pulling up historic issues, it’s about allowing a space to support how you are thinking and feeling about what is happening for you now, to try to help minimise the impact on the rest of your life.”  Natasha.

Natasha is a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Supervisor (Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling, British Psychotherapy Council, Institute of Group Analysis, British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision, British Infertility Counselling Association), and has over 15 years of counselling experience.

We are excited to announce that the next LCRH Weekend Walk will be taking place at 10am on Saturday 10th October, 2026 in Beaconsfield. Dogs, friends and family all welcome.

If you are interested in finding a friendly space to chat informally about various aspects of reproductive health, such as IVF, Egg Freezing, and Donor options then why not come along. This walk will be led by Lynne, Jane and Sarah.

To RSVP use the form in the Living Room area on the LCRH website (link in bio): LCRH.co.uk/livingroom and we will reach out with all the details.

In addition to Beaconsfield we also walk in London and Tunbridge Wells. You can use the same registration form to express interest in our other locations and we’ll be in contact when we have an upcoming walk in your area.

Earlier this month, The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) announced a plan to support its players and employees in egg freezing and assisted fertility treatments. While this news is welcomed by many, those concerned will still be faced with the question of ‘when?’

As anyone who has experienced egg freezing will know, the process is not as simple as a couple of swift clinic appointments, and the reality for many of the professional athletes within our own patient family is that the process timeline alone, which includes scans, preparative medications, egg collections, and recovery, can be incredibly difficult to schedule when your profession requires that every week in training matters.

Dr Chapman is a longtime advocate of education in reproductive health for young female athletes, believing that knowledge and planning is power.

Dr Chapman’s passion is in part inspired by her own journey as a youth professional ballet dancer and the impact that rigorous training had on her own reproductive health. You can find Dr Chapman’s story on our website in the LCRH Living Room (LCRH.co.uk/livingroom) our place for shared support and connection.

It is PMOS Awareness Month.

In May this year, it was agreed by a group of leading global medical, research and patient advocate groups to rename PCOS (Polycystic O***y Syndrome) as PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome).

Why? The polycystic term has always been a misinterpretation of the situation. These are actually tiny, fluid-filled sacs (usually 2 to 9 mm in diameter) that naturally house immature eggs inside the ovaries. These are not painful nor pathological and do not need surgical intervention. They are also only part of a larger picture.

This month is PMOS Awareness month, a time for shared awareness and education of the condition and symptoms of PMOS, which can impact fertility, cause irregular or infrequent periods, as well as mood changes, weight gain acne, hair growth, pain and fatigue.

If you would like to book a private consultation to talk about your own situation, our team is here to help.

You’ll find booking details via the link in our instagram bio, and can also reach out via our website: LCRH.co.uk

Counselling at LCRH

Coral

Coral is a qualified counsellor working with adults in private practice. She trained as a Person-Centred counsellor and has gone on to integrate other types of counselling into her practice to best meet the needs of those she works with. She offers a warm, thoughtful and confidential space where clients can speak openly about the challenges they are facing.

Her approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity and careful listening, allowing individuals the time and space to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. She believes that feeling genuinely heard and understood can be deeply supportive, and aims to provide a space where clients can begin to make sense of what they are going through.

Before qualifying as a counsellor, Coral worked as a media specialist in advertising and publishing, which gave her valuable insight into the pressures and demands of corporate life. Volunteering with charities supporting women and young adults, along with a personal interest in fertility, inspired her decision to retrain.
